|Description:||Responsible for assisting in continuous operation of the Credit Union’s Local Area Network (LAN)/(WAN)/Wireless Network, and Servers. Provides support to the Credit Union staff for the in-house data processing system, various 3rd party systems and network management. |
|Duties:||ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:|
•Responsible for configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Windows Server environment.
•Maintains Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and file/print services.
•Maintains the current design of the server and network infrastructure.
•Manages key vendors and service providers of server and network equipment and services.
•Maintains connectivity between all locations and 3rd party vendors.
•Administers all aspects of the network- including firewalls, routers, switches, email, Internet access, user accounts and security.
•Responsible for monitoring the network for security threats and proactively taking actions to secure it from unauthorized access.
•Prepares annual plan and budget to keep infrastructure current and secure.
•Monitors employee website access, bandwidth utilization, and email usage.
•Responsible for the deployment and management of servers in an advanced VM Ware environment.
•Maintains backup servers, hardware, and system disks for disaster recovery.
•Maintains group policy to secure and configure systems, automate tasks and package deployment.
•Provides support to all users.
•Responsible for maintaining written procedures for position.
•Ensures Regulatory procedures are followed in accordance with Federal and State Regulations and updated as necessary.
•Other projects as may be assigned.
NOTE: THE LIST OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE. IT MAY BE SUPPLEMENTED AS NECESSARY FROM TIME TO TIME.
•College Degree preferred in Information Systems.
•Three (3) years experience in Cisco Networking (Firewall management, VLANs, Wireless Access Points, VPN, IP telephony) Microsoft Windows Server, and Troubleshooting PCs, Printers, and Software required.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, IIS, Lync, Cisco, VmWare, SQL, Symantec Endpoint Protection, IDS/IPS, Windows 2003/2008 Server, and Windows 7 required.
•Cisco Certified Network Administrator and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer highly preferred.
•Knowledge of Apple/Mac operating system.
•Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

•Resourceful and able to accomplish tasks with limited resources.

Finger Dexterity: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movement such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together.

Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Sitting/Lifting: Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day, must be able to lift up to 35lbs occasionally.
Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, some color vision, and the ability to adjust focus for close computer work.
